CHILL Entertainment Group was founded by Che Hill in 2006. C.E.G. started off by putting on teen club events and later moving on to putting on talent showcases and concerts. In 2010 C.E.G. began working on music and artists development. One of C.E.G.'s current artists development projects is the group "DL3."
C.E.G. is also responsible for creating the F.A.C.E program which stands for (Funding All Children's Education). This program is a fundraising effort to assist any school with raising money for funding educational programs, school activities, sports programs, and any other school funding needs.
C.E.G. is a registered member of ASCAP THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF COMPOSERS, AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS
C.E.G. is interested in development of music talent in all genres of music.
The necessity of F.A.C.E. came to light while I was working in LA County as part of a team of law enforcement officials working in communities with a high volume of calls for service from the police department. During the summers of 2008 and 2009, close to 75% of these calls involved juveniles either as the suspect or victim(s). When questioning the juveniles, an overwhelming amount of them said they had nothing to do because summer school and jobs were not available.
Unfortunately, summer and enrichment programs in the areas of sports & arts are susceptible in a bad economy. Currently state budget cuts have grown dramatically to the point where school districts have eliminated afterschool programs completely, including sports. These school programs are critical to the learning development of youth and not having them has long term repercussions. It appears those in charge of making cuts are focused on the present and not the future.
I was encouraged to make an about-face and create a program that takes youth and educators toward a future. Funding All Children's Education is a means to respond to the service calls in our schools.
